Problems we've built answers to.
These are concept projects and internal demos, each labelled as such. They show how we think through a problem end to end. Client case studies are added here once clients approve them for publication.

Design
How decisions get made visible
Most of the important work happens before anyone opens an editor: on a wall, with the people who will use the thing.
Process
Six stages. You see working software from week four.
Every stage ends with something you can review and sign off, so there are no surprises at the end.
The full methodology- 01
Discover
Understand the business problem and the people who have it.
Interviews with your team and, wherever possible, your users. We look at the numbers you already have and the workarounds people use today.
You get: A one-page problem statement both sides sign off
- 02
Define
Agree requirements, scope and how success will be measured.
We turn the problem into a scoped first release, name what is out of scope, and agree the two or three numbers that will tell us it worked.
You get: Scope, architecture sketch and a fixed proposal
- 03
Design
Map the journeys and prototype them until the questions are answered.
Flows first, then interface. Prototypes are tested with real users before engineering starts, so we build decisions, not guesses.
You get: Clickable prototype and design system
- 04
Engineer
Build secure, tested, maintainable software in short cycles.
Two-week cycles, each ending with a working demo on a staging link you can click through. Code lives in your repository from the first commit.
You get: A staging link that updates every week
- 05
Launch
Deploy, measure and fix what real usage reveals.
Release behind feature flags, with monitoring, alerts and a rollback plan in place. Analytics track the success measures agreed in Define.
You get: Production release and launch report
- 06
Evolve
Improve the product from what users actually do.
A monthly cycle of review, prioritise and ship. Or a clean handover to your own team, with documentation and pairing sessions.
You get: Roadmap driven by usage data, or a full handover
Why CodeBeyonds
Four things we do differently, and how you can check.
Claims are cheap, so each one comes with the practice behind it.
- Business-first engineeringWe start from the decision the software supports, not the framework.
- In practiceEvery project begins with a signed one-page problem statement and two or three success measures. If we cannot write them down, we are not ready to quote.
- AI only where it earns its placeA model is a component with a cost, not a selling point.
- In practiceAI features ship with an evaluation set and pass criteria agreed with you. If a rules engine does the job, we build the rules engine.
- Design-led developmentDesigners and engineers work in the same cycle.
- In practicePrototypes are tested with users before build, and the Figma components map one-to-one to code components, so the shipped product matches what was approved.
- Systems you can keep runningHandover is a deliverable, not an afterthought.
- In practiceYou own the repository and cloud accounts from day one. Every project ends with runbooks, architecture records and pairing sessions with your team.
Project estimator
Get an indicative scope in two minutes.
Five short questions. You’ll see a rough scope, timeline and budget range before you send anything, and a person reads every submission.
Ranges are indicative, based on typical projects. They are not a quote. A fixed proposal follows a conversation.
